Gas Fires
Servicing, safety checks, installation and removal of gas fires.
Overview
A gas fire needs a working flue and good combustion to be safe. We service and safety-check existing fires, install new ones where the flue and ventilation allow, and safely disconnect and cap fires being removed. If a fire shows signs of poor combustion, such as soot or a lazy yellow flame, we will advise you to stop using it until it has been checked.

Gas Fires: questions
Do I need a carbon monoxide alarm with a gas fire?
A carbon monoxide alarm is strongly recommended in any room with a fuel-burning appliance. Check current regulations for your property type; landlords have specific duties.
