Underfloor Heating
Wet underfloor heating connected to your heating system, plus faults on existing systems.
Overview
Wet underfloor heating runs warm water through pipework beneath the floor, giving gentle, even heat without radiators on the walls. It works well in kitchens, extensions and bathrooms, and pairs naturally with heat pumps because it runs at lower water temperatures. We can connect underfloor heating to your system and look at existing setups that are not performing.
Common problems we deal with
- Planning heating for an extension or open-plan room
- Freeing up wall space taken by radiators
- An existing underfloor zone that will not get warm
- Manifold, pump or thermostat faults
How the work is done
- Review of the room, floor construction and heat source
- Agreed layout, zoning and controls
- Installation and connection of pipework, manifold and controls
- Pressure testing, commissioning and handover
What you get
- Even warmth across the whole floor
- No radiators taking up wall space
- Well suited to lower-temperature systems such as heat pumps
- Room-by-room control through zoning
Underfloor Heating: questions
Can underfloor heating work with my existing boiler?
In many cases, yes, with a mixing valve or suitable controls. It depends on the boiler and system layout, which we check before recommending anything.
